Working Principle

Thermoelectric coolers operate based on the Peltier effect, a fundamental thermoelectric physical principle. The core structure consists of multiple pairs of N-type and P-type semiconductor thermoelectric legs arranged in series and packaged with high-strength ceramic substrates. When DC current passes through the module, one side absorbs heat and forms a low-temperature cold surface, while the other side releases heat to form a hot surface. By adjusting the current direction and current magnitude, the module can realize bidirectional cooling and heating as well as accurate temperature difference control. The whole heat exchange process is rapid and no medium consumption is required, realizing pure electronic solid-state temperature regulation.
